ABOUT ME
Where to start! I was born in a small town outside of Lviv, Ukraine. When I was 3 years old, my parents and I immigrated to a city just outside of Toronto, Canada where I was promptly enrolled into French-Ukrainian-English school (only in Canada … !). Not to say this exactly made me trilingual, but it did get me fascinated with languages and different cultures. When I was 16 I did my first trip abroad, where I went on exchange to a small small town outside of Nantes in France. I attended business school at a lyceé for a few months—it completely opened me up to the world! Living on a farm in a French vineyard in the middle of nowhere, going to a technical trade school with people from all over the French diaspora … little 16-year-old me was hooked, and since then I’ve tried to make it a point to connect with other backpackers and locals on my travels. I love meeting you and appreciate the stories and vulnerabilities you’ve shared with me ❤️

MY TRAVELS
Since France, I’ve worked in a soup kitchen in Québec, taught in a summer camp on Manitoulin Island, worked in architecture offices across Mexico City and New York, studied cultural history in Rome, and worked as a writer in Singapore and Amsterdam!

INTERESTS

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rented a scooter in Vietnam and biked the Ha Giang loop! Then my scooter broke down ... and I got picked up by a Vietnamese couple! (On their first data ahah). Went surfing in Bali. Took spanish in Mexico City. Lived on a farm outside of Nantes.
