About Me

I’m an active, positive person who enjoys life and appreciates each day.
I’m a Java developer who writes not only code but also stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was a student, I did volunteering abroad (Italy, Germany), and during these trips I firstly opened the door to Couchsurfing.

I’m very thankful to all the people I’ve met through Couchsurfing — it was an amazing experience.

I’ve hosted some guests and showed them around my hometown. Whenever I can, I also host at my home — though that doesn’t happen often, since I don’t have my own apartment.

Interests

Literature, writing, phycology, dancing, learning new languages and exploring new cultures, visiting new places. I’m a fan of nature’s beauty — mountains make the greatest impression on me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve made major life decisions following my heart rather than logic, and the results are always amazing!

I took breaks from my job, my responsibilities, even my country, and just following the path… I’ve taken half-year breaks like this a few times, and this one has been especially cool and really valuable for me.

I climbed Kazbek (5,033 m) on my own. I didn’t have a climbing group or any equipment — I was just a backpacker in Georgia. But I had a lot of trust and a bit of luck to find a group and organise everything! And I did it. It was my first mountain summit!

One year was stressful — I gained 15 kilos, but I managed to lose it all in a few months by sticking to a keto diet.

I walked the Camino de Santiago from Porto to Santiago — it became the beginning of a deep inner transformation for me.
