I am a traveller that wants to meet people and learn about culture, history and good stories
I studied in Canada for 3 years. Then, I worked in a local NGO in Guinea (Western Africa) for 6 months to help develop sports with young women that did not have the opportunity to go to school.
I am now currently travelling Latin America for 9 months. Amongst other things, I truly want to learn how to speak Spanish fluently. In general, what I am seeking in my travels is adventure, meeting locals, doing unexpected, unusual activities and learning a lot about the culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet people, be closer to the communities where I am travelling. I love the fact that for a short period of time I can live like a local person would. In other words, not only do touristy activities, but truly see how people live.
It is also a great way for me to speak Spanish in the case of South America.

Basketball, movies, cooking, adventure
I have been playing basketball since I was a kid and it is truly a passion to me.
Cooking is also an activity that I enjoy a lot. I cool to relax, have a good time and learn! Indeed wherever I travel I try to learn about the local cuisine and I always love picking up new ways of cooking, new tips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Planted 400 000 trees and supervised a group of 14 planters that planted 1 million trees
Every summer for the past 4 years, I have gone tree planting in northern Canada. It is an amazing experience with a great community that has taught me a lot. From hard work, to living in nature and creating amazing relationships, tree planting is truly part of my life.
