Overview
About Me
I recently graduated with my MA in English Literature and I now work as a content editor for a marketing firm. To keep myself from fossilizing at my desk, I like to take long weekend trips cities I haven't seen before. I'm particularly interested in art museums, the DJ/underground music scene (dancing of any kind, really), record stores, and good restaurants.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think traveling is always better when you can meet people and find out why they love where they live. Always looking for niche recommendations and unexpected adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is hard to pin down, because I always like finding new stuff. A few favorites include Destroyer, TV on the Radio, Matias Aguayo, Neko Case, and Oneohtrix Point Never.
Movies: My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done; the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; No Country for Old Men; The Florida Project; Rushmore
Books: Open City by Teju Cole, Desperate Characters by Paula Fox, If on a winter's night a traveler by Italo Calvino. Model City by Donna Stonecipher.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once spent an entire night wandering the streets of Glasgow.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always looking to learn new recipes and discover new musical artists.
I can share friendship and an engaging conversation, particularly if we're talking about poetry, literature, or music.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm more than happy to cook and/or buy a round of drinks, if you're into that kinda thing :D
