Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not the type that travels to a foreign place, sees what all the tourists see, and hunkers down in the isolation of a Western-style hotel at the end of the day. If I'm in a new place, I want to experience the local atmosphere as best as I can. Through unique accommodations and a personal connection with the local population, Couchsurfing helps to amplify the local atmosphere to its fullest.

Worked as part of the ground crew at the largest airshow in North America (EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI) three times.
