I am a 20 y/o student studying Philosophy. I now study in Leeds and am originally from the Isle of Man. The thought of going back somewhere so small over my summer break scared me a little bit so when I heard about an oppurtunity to work away I seized it. Im now working for a team which runs a pub krawl of around 100 international people every single night in Krakow. I think my degree has helped me come to appreciate the world a little bit more, and helped me decided what it is I want to do with myself, which is to meet people and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While working in Poland I wish to travel as much as possible but being a student I wish to do it as cheap as possible too. I love meeting new people and it would be great to stay with people who knew the places I wish to visit.

A big lover of sci-fi but always enjoy to sit down and watch any film. Main musical interests are rock and indie, although always open to any kind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although it seems silly, quite recently I ended up sat on a hostal balcony with an American and an Australian. They had just visited Auschwitz so our conversation began there, but quickly moved into all things relevant in the world today, from the refugee crisis to the LGBT community. It amazed me that 3 people from 3 different lives could all agree and discuss the world we all share. Helped me realise how similar we all are and how our differences are so small. Best conversation of my life.
