ABOUT ME

I am a young professional living in Madison, WI. I'm a Madison native and like many of us, couldn't bring myself to leave for any extended period of time. If you've never been here, come. You'll understand why.

I'm a cycling, hiking, traveling, food and craft beer enthusiast. I am also a map junkie and take great pleasure in visiting new places and being able to give natives directions within a couple of days. I'm passionate about the environment, social justice, democracy, land use and urban spaces.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you and those around you happy and fulfilled. Keep conscious of the big picture and act accordingly. Do unto others as you wish others to do unto you.

I am a new member, but hope to host and be hosted in order to grow an international network of travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think the most interesting was staying with a drumming troupe I met in the plaza in Monterrey Mexico, where I attempted to sleep on a half inflated air mattress on a cement floor while everyone else continued to party... I have also stayed in some more comfortable situations too.
