I am a graduate student (done in a year or so) who likes the outdoors and physical activity, though I don't get out nearly enough. I like to party on the weekends with friends, play racquetball and run. I love to read everything from science fiction to philosophy and consider myself an amateur foodie. Trying new things is important to me, so I'm ready . . .

While traveling in Brazil for a science conference I met a woman who told me about the site. This is me joining!

Interests

When I travel I am interested primarily in natural landscape, fauna, and culture. History is also very interesting. One of my favorite things to do in a new city is run it. There is no better way to get a feel for a city and its people.
