My name is Isabela, I am 26 years old, and I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. One of my biggest interests is music — I really enjoy MPB, alternative rock, and rap. I am also very interested in politics and like studying the history and culture of different countries.

I have always been involved in volunteer work in Brazil, such as TETO, community-based preparatory courses, Sonhar Acordado, and AIESEC. Among these, the one I stayed with the longest was AIESEC, where I was active for around three and a half years. I believe my strong connection with AIESEC came from the opportunity to be in contact with exchange students from all over the world and to work with young people from diverse backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want the opportunity to travel to different countries and experience their customs, culture, language, and people. I also believe it is one of the best ways to connect with locals and build lifelong friendships.
