Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i had guests from hospitality club in vienna and at 10 pm they asked me if i wanted to come with them to berlin the next morning. i certainly said yes and found myself unexpectatly walking around with 20 funny romanians in berlin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

some things i remember:

>>india: too boring to stay in the bus- let`s climb on the roof
>>china: i was invited by a famliy to their 1 room appartment. after a time of making hand sings and drawings we gave up communication. but i will nerver forget the smile on everybodies faces.
>>costa rica: something`s moving above my head..a green mamba !

>>argentina: stuck as only tourist on an island for a week whos population of pigs, monkeys and krokodiles was defenitly higher than human beeings.

>>and at last..an experience that changed my life: i was offered a job in georgia (caucasus). i was teaching in an art school when suddenly war broke out. i fled through the country, taking 4 days what takes usally 1 day. no cell phones, no interent! i saw tanks, i woke up from the sound of bombs and saw the light when they hit the ground. i finally was evacuated by the french army. i write this here so you travellers can learn from my mistakes and don`t play cool or adventurous when there`s a safety warning for the region (even if it there since ages and nothing ever happened in the last 20 years like in georgia).
