About Me
Hi! I'm Isabella but I go by Isa. I'm originally from Seattle, WA, United States, but I've been going to film school at San Francisco State University in California for the past 2 years, and I just graduated from university in May. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I have been exposed to a lot of hiking and outdoors activities through my family and friends. A lot of nature makes its way into my films, and I especially love when I can implement it with something whimsical happening to the characters. I love going out to the park and capturing footage of the landscapes and trees. I especially love Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and the Snoqualmie Middle Fork near Seattle. When not filming, I love crafty hobbies like sewing, painting and creating dioramas (usually for my films). ;)
I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend Eric and I are traveling Europe for the first time! We were inspired to join Couchsurfing by our friend, Natalie, who traveled Southeast Asia and Europe last year, and Japan this year. She's built relationships with so many people from all over the world. We're hoping to build genuine connections with our hosts like her and learn as much about out of each city we visit as possible!

Music, Movies, and Books
I absolutely love Coraline (2009), and basically anything that's artsy and colorful, with a twist of weird energy. I am also a big fan of Stanley Kubrick's films because he seems to have a distinct, unique style to all of his films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have made a feature-length and short student films through high school and college that are on my YouTube channel: "Isabella Jennings" I try to focus specifically on female characters placed in strange, silly situations, and I really like playing with the aesthetic of the scene, trying to make it look as pretty and whimsical as possible.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about photography or filmmaking
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m open to chat for as long as you’d like! I can talk for days and I love learning about people, especially from different places. I'm also skilled at making little food delicacies and tasty vegetarian snacks. I work at a tea shop back home so I spend a lot of time making pastries and trying tea. But I’m also flexible and willing to go with the flow. Whichever vibe you prefer, I can make it work as a guest or host.
