About Me
Hi I’m Bella, a twenty three year old Australian currently backpacking around Eastern Europe. I just finished studying abroad for a semester in Ireland and now I’m taking some time to explore this amazing part of the world before I head back home to finish my studies…
I’ve just been hitchhiking and couchsurfing through Slovakia and Hungary with a friend. We met some amazing people traveling like this and it opened my eyes to how cool and caring the couch surfing community is. I’m now traveling solo but am keen to continue meeting local crew this way. I had no idea about couch surfing before leaving Australia but am so excited to host travelers when I get home! It’s such a special way of connecting.
I love being outdoors more than anything else, especially for hiking, swimming and watching sunsets. I’ll probably ask lots of questions about the best local spots!! If you need a companion for a walk near your town or a swim in a lake, I’m your girl.
I also love spending time in cafes, art galleries, and hanging out around creative lads. Even if you can’t host me I’d love to know your favourite coffee spots! Locals always know best 💛
Also just to say I love a chat, but I’m equally happy in my own company exploring new places. So if you have a busy schedule that’s totally fine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m trying to be as open minded as possible and see where the adventure takes me. I want to learn as much about each new place as I can and I feel like couchsurfing is a great way to do that.
Also can’t wait to host travelers as soon as I get home! So hit me up if you’re ever in Fremantle, Western Australia, and I’ll show you all the best beaches
Music, Movies, and Books
I love dancing and I love hiphop!! Favourite music artists are Lorde, Bangerfabrique, Big Thief, MF Doom, the Avalanches, David Bowie, Mazzy Star… and of course a cheeky bit of techno or UKG if the opportunity arises.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked the camino de santiago last year. Swam in the Cantabrian sea, spent time in the mountains, ate delicious food and made friends for life. Feeling very lucky
