ABOUT ME

I'm always looking for that singular moment, perfect idea, edinomyshlennik (a word that I want to steal from Russian - somewhere between like-minded person and soulmate). Experiences with the capacity to transform. I live for genuine engagement with other people and my environment.
I've been told that I'm thoughtful, quiet at first, adventurous.

I've surfed a bit and attended CS meetings across Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some wonderful, original people through Courchsurfing. I also love the unexpectedness of it - our world is more and more planned, and Couchsurfing just leaps in and cracks that open.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to a lake of ice in a mountain range in Poland. And to a peak in the Lake District of England in the middle of a raging storm, while mountain sheep looked on quizzically. And to the highest point of Hydra on a scorching day, while Greek islanders looked on quizzically.

I'm a writer and editor, so I'm always happy to work on texts, discuss the nuances of language. I speak advanced Russian as well, am happy to help beginners with that most maddening and beautiful language.
