ABOUT ME

We are a couple (Isabella, 25 and Daniel, 28) who love to travel independently. Last year we travelled through Westafrica, where we studied Djembé and enjoyed the african culture. This year we are heading toward cyprus and syria, where we want to enjoy the beaches and the music scene, as well as the arabic culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Isabella had some visitors from hospitalityclub and couchsurfing staying at her place. Recently John and Swetha fron India and the United States visited her. They visit Europe via couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Daniel: African music (Ali Farka Touré, Toumani Diabaté, Boubacar Traoré...), all kinds of self-made music, as well as classical music (Bach!)/ Philosphie books. Isabella: music from the 60ies/ books: Dostojewskij, Yalom, Murakami/movies: European movies, such as "la vie revée des ânges".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Floating on a boat along the Niger river trough the Sahara, while watching the stars at night. this was a very peaceful experience.
