About Me

Hi !
I’m Isabelle - I live in Brooklyn, New York City, and I love music, reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time in nature. I am a student in a PhD program at NYU.

I spent a year of university studying abroad in Firenze, so I am very excited to come back and revisit so many memories in the magical city!

In my opinion, Italy is the most beautiful country in the world. It is my favorite country to travel to, and I am lucky enough to have visited so many amazing places across many regions.

I’m a very clean, respectful, easy going guest and an outgoing person who loves to make new friends, eat well, and drink good wine.

MAY 2023: I will be traveling with my friend, who also studied with me in Firenze. He is also excited to revisit it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is no better way to get in touch with a culture than to truly like like a local. I love to meet new people and make friends wherever I go. Couchsurfing is such a cool way to do both of those things!

My favorite things to do while I’m traveling are visit farmers markets, go to concerts, visit libraries, try local food, and talk to elderly people who live there (they have the best stories).

To me, CS means sharing a part of my life with a new friend and getting to experience some of theirs as well.
