I'm a couchsurfer because I like to interact with people and just talk about culture, what makes their city special and history.

Since I'm an Au Pair and only here for a limited time I'd love to meet as many people from all across the country and it's always good to know someone for all the secret spots you wouldn't see as a tourist!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You meet people you never would've met if you were traveling on your own/in groups. Also it's the best way to travel with a low budget (every Au Pair can tell you a story about that haha) and still see a lot of places and make new friends!

It's just a lot of fun to travel from one place to another and build friendships that could last a long time! You can surf and once you're back home you can give others the same chance you got!

Interests

Since I'm in the US my inner traveller broke out! Literally! I try to spend the weekends away from Virginia (where I'm living with my host family) and see as much from the United States as possible!
I'm very spontaneously ,open-minded, up for adventures and would also travel alone since couchsurfing brings together people with the same interests (if you're doing it right!) and you never end up alone!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of Music (but mostly rock, pop and a little bit of house/dubstep), all kinds of books (except for thriller) and I love all the Marvel movies :D

Of course also other kind of movies like Disney (come on, you're never too old for Disney! Just watch Coco and tell me you didn't cry!) or Action movies such as "Jack Reacher", "Fightclub", "I am Legend".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my home country to become an Au Pair in a country I've never been to before + getting my first tattoo soon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook (international, as my Mom is from Romania) and bake a lot (could teach some German dishes.) :)

I plan to learn French once I'm back in Germany since my best friend (we've met here as Au Pairs) is from France!

I love to share my experience as an Au Pair and European living in the US! But most of all I love just to talk to people from all around the world. It just gives you the opportunity to really get to know other cultures when you're willing to open up and ask for their opinions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A safe, warm place to stay! If I'm free I could also show you around and help you out with things you really should do and food you really should try!
But also experience, long night talks and I could cook/bake. :D
