I am French/ Australian/American and so love to travel! I also have a great love for being in wilderness. Recently I was thru hiking the John Muir Trail in the Sierra Nevada mountains, but due to the record breaking fires this year all the national forests closed. Now I am a trail orphan seeking new places and lovely friends. I am also fully vaccinated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveled all over the world and I believe couch surfing is a wonderful way to meet REAL people and experience REAL culture instead of staying in places and seeing faces that all look the same... i.e. tourist traps and hotel franchises. Let's get together and break the barriers of capitalism!

Interests

I read about all sorts of subjects. My favorite are informational and historical fiction/non-fiction. I've traveled to Montreal, Quebec, many places in northern France, all of the southern states, a few western, and some northeastern states in the U.S.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now my favorite movie is Whale Rider... I also love the Studio Ghibli films. I love music, pretty much all genres. I love Mia Doi Todd, My morning jacket, Amy Winehouse, Bull frog Bull frog, James Taylor... and a lot more. My favorite book right now is The Permaculture handbook by Peter Bane.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took part in a survival skills class in the Appalachian mountains for five days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more about how to nourish and support myself and others holistically. If everyone focused on balancing their mind, body, and soul the world would change in many positive ways. It would be wonderful to share my experiences as well as learn from others and what they have experienced.
