Overview
About Me
I have a child 1 in college and 1 in junior year of high school (not staying with me - but she lives across the street from me so you might see her stopping by). But it also means that I'm "free" again to travel. I am working remotely as a tech support in a fintech startup and can work from anywhere. I would love to host as well. I miss meeting people from everywhere and learning about their life and culture. I am vegetarian (but will not try to convert anyone - my kids eat meat) and I don't drink (but you are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine if that's your thing). I am open minded and welcoming.
I am working hard right now in order to retire early and dedicate myself to the spiritual path I am on. For this, I try to save money where I can and live with the minimum. I am pretty busy but can always find time to show you some hiking trails.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have lot's of space in my home to welcome travelers. I can tell them where to hike in Oregon and what to see. I traveled solo a lot before the kids, and did a lot of backpacking and hitchhiking. I'm still young at heart, still travel very light and I am happy with very little comfort.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Paulo Coelo, siddharta, or anything that makes you think about the meaning of life.
Music: listens to everything that has meaningful lyrics.
Movies: do not watch many - I already spend too much time in front of a screen for work, so prefer to be in nature during my time off
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking within the Grand Canyon from one rim to the other rim by myself for a week
Teach, Learn, Share
