ABOUT ME

I was born in Montreal and spent most of my life here. I then moved to Sherbrooke for 3½ years to do my Bachelor's degree in ecology. I love the Planet and helping it out is one of my main goals in life :). I am a curious person always looking for new experiences. I am an open-minded person with a young heart and sense of humor.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed in France and Scotland . It's been an amazing experience, I met great people and had the opportunity to learn so much through the locals' experience. I arrived in Auckland not too long ago and I'd love to meet like minded people who are willing to explore in the city and around!

Interests

Traveling, learning new languages, meeting new people, the sea, mountains, nature in general, rain storms, hiking, camping, saving the planet, music, books, movies, cooking and eating, moving around by bicycle, arts and crafts (sewing, crocheting, jewelry making)

Music, Movies, and Books

Crash, Forest Gump, Babel, Café de Flore, BBC documentaries, Fast Food Nation, Mystic River, Gattaca, Big Fish, these are the first ones I could think of but I enjoyed so many movies!

I had a long classic rock period: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Gentle Giant, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, CCR, King Crimson, the Beatles, the Who, the Doors... I love Neil Young. I then broadened my horizons, I love different things: Arcade Fire, Gotan Project, Cat Empire, Manu Chao...

It's just to hard to name books, there are too many!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing whales in Tadoussac, working in the tropical Forest, climbing Volcán Barú, the magnolia tree close to my house, the mountains of Northern Guatemala...
