ABOUT ME
Mark and I just got hitched! =)
This used to be my personal account but like with everything that comes with marriage, it is now shared. =p
My friends will tell you that I live to experience life. I love dancing and singing and talking to people. I love my job too as it gives me opportunities to see the world and meet new human beings =)Definitely picked up my passion for photography too along the way. I'm seriously crazy but geeky as well, bad with directions but good with maps. I think that helps me wander through life without getting too lost.
Mark claims he is never lost though so I guess that complements me. He was also born in Singapore and grew up on math puzzles and basketball. He enjoy basically anything geeky and is game for most sports, especially triathlons and climbing. He is somewhat introverted and enjoy talking with people on an individual basis. Always spontaneous, he is definitely fun to be around.
We both enjoy cooking, eating, playing board games and experiencing life together. We are so excited about married life and our upcoming honeymoon!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have participated in CS before but Mark has always been apprehensive. Wie are trying to change that =p
Interests
Pretty much everything interest me which explains why I don't seem to have enough time to explore all the places, people, culture, thoughts, ideas and everything else intriguing.
Whenever I have time though, I find myself singing, dancing, making music, taking pictures, playing boardgames, reflecting on life, chilling at a cafe, people watching, cooking, scrapbooking, catching up with loved ones. I love team sports and participated in them while in school too.
Mark enjoys coding and spends his time on plane creating new websites (while I just watch the latest movie available). This adorable geek is always so up to date with the newest technology and can work my computer/phone/tablet in ways I never could have imaged. He loves sports and is super outdoorsy, always dragging me for cycling or to do hikes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I don't read much (I prefer points to passages and hence I never read my textbooks either) but books that stuck with me include the Ender's Saga, Tuesdays with Morris, Blink, Five People You Meet in Heaven.
I like songs with a tune and good lyrics, especially stripped/acoustic versions. Musicals get me excited. =D
Movies: The Darjeeling Limited, Perks of Being a Wallflower, 21, The Prestige, The Flowers of War, Girlfriend Boyfriend (Taiwan)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed with villagers in the Chiangmai mountains for two weeks.
I lived life their way, ate what they ate, slept where they slept (in sleeping bags on the elevated flooring with pigs, cows and chickens roaming beneath the planks), climbed trees in the evenings, brushed my teeth by the drain, showered with icy cold water, built toilets and canteens, and taught English.
Definitely an eye opener for a city girl like me.
Mark has been on a crazy trip to China, which includes getting conned by bus drivers, sleeping outside toilets and cooking with cockroaches. Let him share more about that when you meet him!
