ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm an Architecture major/French minor from Houston, but I currently live in Austin. My dad is Jamaican and my mom is French-Canadian, so I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds! I am so curious about what people are doing in their part of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that it's important to be as open-minded as possible. Other people can have great things to say, and you can learn so much from their different perspectives. Also, you should never pass up an opportunity to try new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to host some couchsurfers and show them around the great city of Austin. I'd also like to be hosted and meet new people who will show me how great their city is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any official couchsurfing experience, but I'd like to start this summer and get more experience during my semester in Versailles.

Interests

I like architecture, music, crafts, dancing... basically anything in the artsy realm! I like experiencing new things and activities that put me out of my comfort zone, because I feel like they give me the chance to grow as a person and live life to the fullest! I am a major sports fan... but unfortunately have ZERO hand-eye coordination, haha. I will at least attemp to play sports, but I truly love watching soccer, hockey, and football.

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally listen to most music except for country music; it just depends on my mood. I'm always in the mood for 90's throwback dance party! My favorite books are either historical fiction or sci-fi, but I'm a book worm so I'll give anything a go. My favorite movie of all time is Gone With the Wind, because I love Scarlett O'Hara's sassiness and tenacity! I don't usually like Rom Com's because they are way too cheesy.
