Freelancer (comms & marketing), fiction writer, well-traveled, mother of a wonderful 10-year-old daughter ans step-mom of a 5-year-old princess. Live in the countryside (Saint-Octave-de-Métis).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Had my first (extraordinary) surfing experience in March 2014, Newfoundland. I have started hosting CSers in June 2014 and am thrilled to continue doing so!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled a lot, slept mostly in tents or hostels. I am now more interested in getting to know people where I travel.
New to the couch surfing community, but thrilled about it!

I'm not a TV person, but I love to dive into an exciting TV series : How I met your mother, Arrested Development, Prison Break, Sherlock, Dexter...

-Hitchhike from Vancouver to Gaspé
-Spend the night in a sleeping bag just across Buckingham palace, because I had no money for a room
-Save someone from drowning in Lake Titicaca
-Travel alone to Indonesia without a guidebook or local money.. oh. lack of planning!
-Start my own (small) business
-Publish a few short stories in literary magazines
-Give birth!!! Be a decent mom!
-Stop biting my nails
-Persevere through life's hardships and become a better and stronger person.

I work in comms-marketing, and manage all sort of content and strategies for my clients, including on social media - I would be happy to share experience and knowledge!
I've recently started to meditate and to run - I'm in no position to "teach" about that, but would be happy to discuss it and share experience.
The older I get, the more I realize how little I know. Sharing passions - no matter what yours are - is always fascinating.
I own an old house which needs some repairs (need repainting this Summer 2015, etc). If you are interested in doing a little bit or a lot, I could host and feed you and try to find some money to help with the rest of your trip!
