I'm a 24 year old singer and musician from Sweden. I spend five wonderful weeks in the states this summer (2015) and surfed the entire trip. Me and my best friend stayed with 10 different hosts, in New York, Los Angeles and San Fransico and this was one of the best things I've ever done in my life. Our hosts were amazing and now I'm totally into couchsurfing and hope to find new interesting people to stay with next time I travel or host people at my place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My traveling friend has experienced couchsurfing for many years and she loves it. She encouraged me to let us try this out and we did for five weeks in the states. Now I'm here cause it's one of the best ways to meet new people from different parts of the world.

Interests

Sing and play music. Make music with others. Listen to music in my headphones or watch my favorite artists live-performances on Youtube. Take dance classes. Reading articles , watch TED Talks and listen to podcast about my favorite subject: psychology. Paint mandalas in colourbooks. Learn more about LCHF.

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I'm a musician and have had the opportunity to come across so many bands and artist that my musician-friends and also my mugglefriends (non-musicians) have shown me over the years. To write down the best bands and artist that I've had a crush on would take forever. Let's just say I'm open to all kinds of music, and would be glad to get to know what you like.

I was terrible at watching movies before. I had a lack of interest and there where so many must-seen-movies that I never even have heard of. But this year I decided to change that, and started an account on IMDB to get better control of which and how many movies I've seen, by starting ranking them. This year I've seen more than 40 new movies, and one of the favorites so far is "The Intouchables " and "Niceville".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had the courage to follow my heart, wishes and desires to become a singer. Today I'm working as a freelance musician in my sparetime and will soon be a fully qualified vocal teacher. Got higher ambitions than my current level, but I constantly try to figure out how to make progress in the tough music business. Sometimes it's a bit of a windy road, but it's been filled with so much joy and wonderful meetings with inspiring musicians. Worth it all so far!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you more about the voice or just sing a little harmony when you walking around in your apartment, humming on your favorite song. Unpretentious singing can create such a cheerful atmosphere. I can teach you some basic things on piano, guitar, drums or bass, if you happen to have a dusty old-fashioned instrument somewhere in the apartment/house that you almost forgotten. I love pshycologie and have taken some classes in different coaching techniques as well, so I'd love to be your guide if you have any difficulties in your life. No matter how big or small problems you got. I love to listen if you want to share. And, best of all, I can be quiet as a mouse as well.
