Hello everyone ! 👋

My name is Isaline, I have 27-year-old and I'm designer from Paris. I have a passion for traveling and exploring new places, which has led me on some incredible adventures 😍 . One of my most memorable experiences was a several-month-long road trip across Europe. In 2019, I spent six months in Canada, but unfortunately, my stay was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic... 😭 Recently, I travelled during 6 months in Asia, discovering news cultures and specially incredible people. I've had the opportunity to work in different countries, helping out at youth hostels and even on animal ranches 🐴. I'm a huge animal lover and have always had pets around me. At my parents' place, we have one dog 🐶 and three cats 🐱, and spending time with them brings me so much happiness.
I love nature, wide open spaces, and going on hikes. I really love moutains and I know that one day, I'm gonna live near them. There's something magical about being around them 🏔. There is a sense of freedom of being outdoor.

During my travels, I created an Instagram account too dedicated to solo female travelers, sharing their stories and empowering others. This account is for me an incredible chance to share our stories and show that it's possible to travel. You have just to believe in yourself even if it's not so easy for everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to Couchsurfing and really excited to discover this new experience. I love stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing different perspectives and ways of life. But what I find most amazing about traveling is the people I meet along the way. I find the idea of connecting with locals and immersing myself in their culture incredibly fascinating. It's a unique chance to make meaningful connections, share stories, and create lifelong memories. I'm very respectful of your home and schedule. I also consider myself to be very clean. I believe Couchsurfing will give me a chance to get to know amazing people and learn from their experiences, which will help me better understand and appreciate the places I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is incredibly important in my daily life 🎧. It brings me so much joy and help me to be focus. I have a lot of musical interests, but I particularly enjoy listening to chill music that helps me relax 🎹. For movies and shows, I like the ones that are based on true stories, fantastical adventures like Harry Potter, and superhero movies from Marvel 🍿. I also really love animated films (Disney or Pixar movies). For books, I love the one which talk about fantasy or mystery 📚

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done was working as an aurora borealis detective in Whitehorse during the winter for 3 weeks. I know it's not really a common job 🤣 My job was to assist guests at a lodge enjoying the Northern Lights. I saw this incredible natural phenomenon three times, and those moments are some of my favorite memories. The dancing lights in the sky were absolutely breathtaking ❤️
