Hi! I'm Isaiah Valdez, and I grew up in a small town in New Mexico, USA. When I was 18 I moved to New York to study at the United States Military Academy! Since I started studying here, I have traveled to several countries. My favorite things in life are experiencing new cultures and making new friends all across the globe. During my third year, I studied abroad in Kazakhstan for 4 months. Last summer I was able to travel for a month in Ukraine and Belarus. In March '18, I was finally able to visit South America. I still haven't been to Central America, but I hope to do this soon. :D

I moved to Almaty, Kazakhstan, after knowing Russian for less than one year. It was an awesome experience: I met awesome people and learned fluent Russian.
