Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed for the first time when I arrived in Leeds, UK for my semester abroad. The people I stayed with were absolutly amazing and became very good friends of mine. Later on that year, I decided with 2 other friends, to explore the vast land of Iceland. We couchsurfed in Akureyri where we had a very nice host. Very unlucky for us, a volcano decided to erupt making us urge to escape the country. After some days panicking, the airline company sended us to the North of Norway as it was the only air zone unaffected in Europe. My friends and I relied on some very generous couchsurfing hosts while trying, desesperatly, to go back in the UK. Couchsurfing allowed us to meet some very interesting people and made this situation somewhat quite enjoyable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving in Silfra, northern lights in Iceland, Egypt...all of it :), tomato food fight at La Tomatina, Working at a primary school in Panama, UK and all the crazy adventures I had over there, and Oh! so many many more :)
