ABOUT ME

Hello!
I am Isabel, a portuguese girl from a small island lost in the middle of the atlantic ocean - Madeira island! Some time ago i moved to lisbon to study architecture, where I lived until 2010 and then moved to Italy to work. I'm currently working in Basel in an architecture office but right before moving here I lived in Stockholm for a year to study a master's course in entrepreneurship and innovation management.
Beyond architecture, one of the many arts that fascinate me and which I look forward to improve every day is photography. Travelling, cinema and music are also things that I could not dissociate from my daily routine!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I specially love to show the city around to my hosts and if i'm not tired to go out for a drink, listen to music, talk about everything and laugh a lot!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already surfed three times and hosted up to 4 or 5 people but I want to continue travelling, surfing and hosting more!!

Музыка, кино и книги

The music I listen to depends on my mood, so I listen to a lot of different things!! If I have to choose the ones I listen more often I'll have to say indie rock, rock and roll and electronic music although I also like reggae, ska, balcanic music for the sunny and hot days! Jazz and blues for the cloudy ones...

I have seen and done a lot of amazing thing in this amazing world we live in! One of the latest ones was going up to Mont Blanc and seeing the amazing landscape around me! It gives you the sensation of being huge, capable of doing everything!

Since I joined couch surfing my life changed a lot. I started having a more flexible and lighter way of living. I've been learning a lot from all the people I've met since then by hosting and surfing! Is a very enriching experience in a lot of aspects if you know how to manage it the right way! In my opinion there's only ONE rule to have a good couchsurfing experience which is to choose very carefully your host/surfer! This is very important! Read the reviews and the profile before accepting! This is the only way you can guarantee a nice CS experience! ;)
