Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
If I stopped climate change, would that make me superwoman?
ABOUT ME
Enthusiastic, active in all the meanings of the word, crazy but not stupid, sweet, little :D
I have a big family, I have 3 brothers, a lot of nieces and nephews, ants n uncles, I'm used to chaos in our house :D
I am very much involved in different youth organizations promoting youth participation. I'm member of the youth council in my home town, in my university ( to represent the students in my class), and in an organization called Zuiddag ( check www.zuiddag.be)
PHILOSOPHY
don't worry, be happy!
be active, because the world needs you to!
"change the world, she needs it"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like meeting new people, in an active way, actually meeting them. As I do not have the possibilities to travel a lot, and as I'm a busy student, I just thought, hey, why not be a host? So now I'm a host, looking forward to new experiences and new contacts.
I do know what it is to host people, I grew up with it, because my parents do it every summer together with a cultural festival in our neighborhood. We've hosted artists, dancers and musicians from every continent in the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No experience whatsoever, It's a new adventure!
Interests
I'm interested in Climate and science, thats why I started studying Bio-ingenering in Brussels. I like music and dancing, theater, musicals, movies, series and watching tv. I also like to read, especially fiction (Harry Potter, Terry Pratchet, Eragon, ... )

Music, Movies, and Books
books: fiction!
music: I like a lot, but no screaming and boenka-boenka noise
movies: everything except Horror and creepy stuff! I can't sleep anymore.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Tanzania for an exchange project, and there I lived for 3 days with the Maasaï. It was an experience I'll never forget. They made me eat a goats penis! ( not so bad I have to say :D )
An other moment was in china were I was shocked by the way people misbehave concerning hygiene and traffic. The country with its monuments and nature is beautiful! I climbed the chinese wall, proud of myself, because it was hard, and steep!
The third I'd like to share is the moment I was in Syria, summer 2008, I was amazed by he ancient monuments, amphitheaters, temples, ... you could find there, in the middle of nowhere, half in the sand, and original. With lots of parts missing because the people used them to build their houses.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to talk with people about climate, history, science, participation, youth, eating, movies, music, ...
I'd like to learn more about economy, culture, cooking (because I'm not so good at that), traveling, politics, ...
