ABOUT ME

I'm a fun loving, outgoing, spontaneous person who likes to see the best in everybody and all things in life! I'm always down to check out something new and add another experience to my life!!

I've had a long and interesting journey and I think it's going to go on! I grew up in India and moved to the United States a few years ago for college in Philadelphia. I'm lucky to have this unique perspective of life as I've gotten to see a wide spectrum of people and made efforts to understand how they become who they are. And now i've started work in Orlando working for a game studio.

I've always wanted to be able to paint or draw something but I'm terrible at it. So I picked up photography! I can really nerd out about pictures and gear sometimes but at it's core, i love that we can capture some of life's best moments. And travelling is just an amazing way to fill life with these amazing moments, whether it's seeing something wonderful or spending time with new friends navigating a city without understanding a single road on the map. As a child I used to dream about visiting every country.

Something super close to my heart is music; I'm a guitarist and i enjoy recording a lot too. So it's always fun to sit in a circle and sing songs and learn new music.

Recently i started learning to dance, Argentine tango in particular. it's amazing how fluid the dance is and i love that it's all improvisational.

Essentially, I love seeing people expressing themselves in whatever way they do. So it'd be awesome to know about what you are most passionate and maybe learn a little about that from you too! So let me know, because the best conversations start when people talk about their passions and dreams :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my flatmate often host couch surfers in Orlando and it turns out to be a unique experience every time.

From new bands to food locations we didn't know about, it's amazing to explore your own city through the eyes of a traveler!

I haven't surfed a lot yet but I'm planning on doing a lot more whenever I travel. I love the whole experience of meeting someone from the place you're visiting because you find out so much more about there compared to just from websites.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an amazing experience surfing my way towards the north pole, not quite reaching there but landing wayyy above the arctic circle in norway, sweden and finland. I've hosted people from all over before and since and love the new friends i've made out of here!

Music: I listen to a large variety of music but it's usually guitar based so a lot of rock, jazz, classical, some electronic.

Books: Illusions by Richard Bach has been a favorite of mine for a very long time. And Game of thrones is just super bad ass!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Aurora Borealis in Norway and Sweden, to ice swimming in Finland. Bio-luminescent lakes in Puerto Rico is an amazing experience I had when we went to a lake which would light up with color whenever there was any movement in the water. That's been the one of the most surreal experiences of my life.

I've also been lucky enough to have visited the Colosseum, snorkeled with in the sea near a dolphin school, taken part in the amazing new york night life, seen an actual viking ship and driving through some of the highest mountain passes in the Himalayas

I love teaching people tango! Primarily because when i started learning, I thought i had no idea how to dance, but it was very comfortable to pick up. People are always surprised that they can actually dance and it's so fun!

Some more things I could teach you about is music, guitar, recording, making cocktails, photography, english, hindi, punjabi, Indian culture
