About Me
Hello hello!
I'm Ishay from Israel.
I really like to travel, currently climbing in bishop California and planning to travel in Europe for a month and a half during December and January.
I really like meeting new people and learning about cultures and languages, hearing different opinions and mind sets.
That's why when I heard about couch surfing I immediately wanted to try it out.
If you want to see more of my trips and see my vibe you can follow my Instagram, I recently started to post stories from my trips and save it in my highlights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's a very nice way to travel solo, meeting new people, seeing cultures and giving what I have to offer as a person
Currently living with my parents so can't host, when I will have the possibility I will definitely open my house for travelers
Interests
I Like to Boulder and sport climb outdoor and Indoor. I'm in the Israeli climbing Team so if you want to go climbing together I'm very keen.
Apart from that I really like music and reading books, I'm down to whatever new experience my host has to offer and really open minded about doing things I haven't done before.
I also like art very much, I like seeing different kinds of art and through that exploring places

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I'm always looking for new stuff to listen to. I'm down to anything and especially live music, if you're looking for a partner for a show I'm keen.
I normally listen to Israeli music but to give you some direction, my favorite bands are pink Floyd, Beatles, Radiohead and so on.
Books:
I read mainly in Hebrew but a lot of what I read is translated from other languages. My favorite author is Meir Shalev, an Israeli author who's way of writing is just amazing. But as in music, I'm always looking for recommendations.
Movies:
I don't watch a lot of movies but sometimes it's a good vibe when I want to stay home and chill in in a nice cold evening.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Deep water soloing in south Africa. Climbing about 15 meters above an amazing river in the middle of nowhere, the sounds of waterfalls in the background. One of the best moments in my life, meditating on the rock in this gorgeous place.
You can see footage in my insta account.
Teach, Learn, Share
I learn German and I can teach Hebrew if you want, I really like hearing foreign languages.
Also I work as a climbing instructor and route setter so if you want I would love introducing you to climbing, which is in my opinion the best thing in the world 😅
Also very into new sports so if you're down we can do sport exchange haha.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm keen to help in anything I can.
I can cook good Israeli food and day to day meals. I'm tidy and really like a clean place to stay.
If you're looking for a partner for an activity I'm down for a lot of things, especially live shows or any sport activity.
