ABOUT ME

The reason why I signed up on the couchsurfing website is pretty simple: I want to see and explore the world. I started this mission be visiting German cities and European capitals - sometimes as a usual tourist sometimes with a local person as tourguide.
But I definitely prefer to be shown around by native persons because I think you get to know the city and the country faster and in a more intense way. They know anecdotes about certain places, can explain the habits of the home-growns, etc.
I think that I have a pretty international mindset due to my studies. I'm used to be surronded by people from all over the world. I study with French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, English, Americans, Chinese,... I like to get to know new people, to exchange experience, explain habits and traditions, see know places.
I am open-minded, I am ambitious but I also like to have a good time --> work hard, party hard(er) :-) I like to laugh, to have conversations, but sometimes I also like just lying in my bed alone reading a good book and drink a hot cup of tea! But most of the time I prefer the company of other people!

Unfortunately, I haven't any CS experience yet, but I think the time is right to get it change! So many people made very positive experience thus I am curios to make my own experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I have a very "special" (some call it picky)taste in movies, I like sad movies with no happy ending the most. I don't like movies in which the end is forseeable in the first 3 minutes. In my opion, sad movies are more realistic because also life does not always have a happy ending.
Music: In contrast to my movie taste, my music taste is very mainstream. In principle I like all kind of music besides rock and country music. Therefore I often listen to the radio so I can hear a wide range of old and new songs.
Books: I like crime thrillers the most and books with pieces of wisdom about live encouraging people to overthink their actions and asking for the sense of life!
