Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Dahy, a 42-year-old from Egypt. I love meeting people from around the world and sharing stories, meals, and different perspectives on life.
I'm curious, open-minded, and always up for a spontaneous adventure. Whether it’s exploring hidden spots in a new city or just having a meaningful chat over coffee, I’m all in.
I joined Couchsurfing because I believe that the best way to understand a place is through its people. Hotels are fine, but nothing beats local connections and real conversations.
My interests include cooking, hiking, swimming, learning languages, and photography. I also enjoy getting lost in unfamiliar places—it’s often when the best things happen!
I’ve traveled to turkey and Greece, and I’m always planning my next trip. I’m happy to host when I can, and I’m always respectful, clean, and easygoing as a guest.
If we meet, I’d love to share Pastizzi it’s a local Maltese dish, story, travel tip, cultural tradition, etc. Let’s make good memories together!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable moments of my life was watching the sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After a cold night in a Berber camp, I woke up at 5 a.m., climbed a sand dune barefoot, and sat in silence as the first light spread across the endless golden waves of sand.
It wasn’t just the view—it was the stillness, the deep feeling that I was part of something ancient and vast. There were no buildings, no cars, no distractions—just the desert, the wind, and the rising sun. I felt more present than ever before. That moment reminded me how beautiful the world is, and how small we are in the best way possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts
As a hotel night duty manager, hospitality is more than just a job to me—it’s part of who I am. I’ve spent years making sure guests feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and I bring that same energy into my Couchsurfing experience.
If you stay with me, you can expect:
A clean, peaceful, and welcoming space
Help navigating the city—especially tips you won’t find in tourist guides
Stories and conversations about travel, culture, and life
Local insights, whether it’s food, hidden spots, or local customs
A flexible and understanding host (especially when it comes to late check-ins or travel delays—I’ve seen it all!)
I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, and I’m always happy to share what I can—whether it’s tea, time, or travel tips.
Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to sleep—it's about meaningful exchanges, and I do my best to create that kind of experience.
