HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I had the choice, I have lived in beautiful places. I grew up in Nebraska, beautiful in its own way, but I blame the stork for tiring too early and dropping me so far from water. I enjoy playing tour guide and showing people my piece of paradise, seeing it through their eyes and sharing their enthusiasm.

Interessi

Self sustainablilty is the dream I chase. Growing your own food is good for the soul. I wish I had wings so I could fly. Until then, I kite surf. Music inspires me and I listen to and play it often. Sailing has taught me the patience to preservere in all situations. Snowboarding in Tahoe has been keeping me entertained during the winter, but that chapter is closing as the endless summer is once again calling my name.

Musica, film e libri

I like tales of the high seas, especially Bernard Moitessier. Crime fiction by Carl Hiiasen and Lawrence Shames. Elmore Leonard books are always on hand. My favorite books are Rule of the Bone, The Shantaram, and Bukowski's drunken ramblings.
I am a live music fanatic. I plan my summers around music festivals, never a better time to be in the moment!

I sold all my worldly possesions and fit my remaining belongings into two bags. I then left my life in Hawaii to become a citizen of the sea upon a 36' sailboat.

I can teach forgiveness, anger is not a weight that I choose to carry. I like to share my happiness, smiles are my favorite form of currency. We are all students, leaning about yourself and your cyclical nature are essential to understanding your tendencies, both good and bad.
