关于我

ABOUT ME

I'm really easy going and love meeting people. I think one of the most important things is to be able to listen to other's stories and not always being about me, myself and I.
Also, I'd like to be taller, I'm short and light so people always pick me up during parties, which is actually quite enjoyable to see above the crowd!

PHILOSOPHY

When I don't have anything intersting to say, I say it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I decided of a 3 weeks travel in the South Island of New Zealand and thought the best way to discover the region was to meet the inhabitants of this often rugged and isolated place...I signed up a while before I left so I was able to host people at my flat and experience couch surfing the other way round! My flatmate convinced me to sign up, he is somewhere in the community you can try to find him if you want!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At my place, at a period when the flat was already full of friends, we hosted 1 French guy. It was funny to have him as I have been able to figure out what is the image people have of the French culture through a French person they've never met before!
During my trip in the South Island, we met a very interesting German girl at some couch surfer's place. The host wasn't really the best couch surfing experience of my life, but I had a very good feeling with the other couch surfer, we even kept traveling together for a while!

兴趣

Crazy missions mainly. Can mean nothing and everything. I loved parasailing at the beach with my friends, with a home made set up which wasn't particularly safe but wicked for sure!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walking 100 km in 25 hours and 15 minutes for the Oxfam Trailwalker in Taupo, New Zealand, April 2010. A human and physical challenge. The hardest time in my life, physically speaking. But such a strong human experience: I learnt so much about myself, realising how far I could go and most of all realising that when you want to do something, no matter how hard it is, you can do it! Seeing the lights of the hundreds of other walkers behind me during the night was beautiful and helped me to keep going. I realised that together, we can do something and maybe change the world. If you have the chance, do the Oxfam Trailwalker!
