About Me
Hey! Well My name is Israel, I'm 22 years old and I'm here to learn about life. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, although most of the times I've traveled have been inside my country, Peru. I'm a musician/ filmmaker in progress, off to explore the world and meet new people. What's better than creating amazing memories with random people you meet?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing mainly because people I met while backpacking recommended it to me. They told me how they ended up partying in music festivals in brazil with their hosts, or how they train hopped in Europe while meeting new people through Couchsurfing. I trust that the world provides for those who seek. Also, it's great to meet locals who are willing to show you around and teach you about their culture :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I can listen to all types of music honestly. Growing up my father was a Rasta who would blast reggae all day and my mother was a metal head who would turn off his music haha. Listening wise, I'm usually more of an R&B guy, i used to listen to a lot of rock and metal, but I'm a little bit more chill now. Also love jazz, blues, and anything i can dance to. (I'm a really bad dancer but i try lol). But when it comes to making music (I sing and play the guitar) i like to experiment with any genre they throw at me. Hell, if i knew how I'd even sing soap operas hahah.
Favorite movies, classics like pulp fiction, requiem for a dream, trainspotting. But I'll usually watch suspense/horror movies. Also, I LOVE zombie movies. Doesn't matter if they suck, are new or old, I will watch it just for the hell of it haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think one of the most amazing things I've done, was be able to backpack in my country and also in South america. But the best part of my trip (aside from meeting awesome people and seeing amazing landscapes) was probably getting to see Macchu Picchu, one of the world wonders in Peru.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think my main skills that I could teach someone willing to learn would be cooking vegan, singing or playing the guitar, surfing and have deep philosophical conversations late at night haha. Also, I can teach you to ride a motorcycle if you don't know how.
