ABOUT ME
My name is Israel and that's where I grew up. I think I can say I like 80% of what any average couchsurfer would say he likes - travelling, meeting people, watching movies, trying new things. However, i do prefer nature and quiet places over a crowded city and plenty of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe hospitality is one of the most important qualities a person could have. I think it makes me a better human being to host people, and I like giving others the chance to host me as well :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with my girlfriend in a small apartment, and we host people whenever we can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've signed up to the website in 2012 and had only good experience ever since. I've traveled in Canada and hosted people in three different apartments in Israel (on three different periods, I don't own three apartments haha).

Interests

photography, books, travels, all the usual... oh, snowboarding! and politics and sci-fi movies

music: jazz and classical.
movies: I really like a lot of movies, here's some of the latest I've watched and liked: The man who wasn't there, Persepolis, la double vie de Veronique, Amadeus. into the wild would be my most favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've followed a childhood dream to be a pilot, joined the IAF, failed in their pilot training course, and three years later moved to Canada and joined a private pilot license program. I didn't get to finish the program due to illness, but I really love flying, and I'm sure that I'll be back on that one day.

My extremely unique political views. I never found a person with whom I can agree on everything :) . I can also share my pizza baking knowledge, and my somewhat ordinary stories about my travels across the globe.
