About Me

hello lovely fellow humans!

I think it is truly a blessing to be part of the couchsurfing community, I have met so many amazing people, a lot of term I consider friends now. I always loved the experiences, no matter hosting or surfing, and can't wait to make more memories

love to chat and have long conversations and I enjoy having a lot of people around.
as a traveler I’m very low maintenance as like to walk lots and see my surroundings (could do that for hours) and just get to know lovely and interesting humans

I don't drink at all and I ask people to respect that and not try to "convince" me. I will enjoy a mate or lemonade while you drink your beer or wine :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to meet local people from the places I'm traveling to and have authentic experiences, really imerge myself in the culture. I wanna discover and see the places like a native person and not through a turistic lense, especially not doing sightseeing. tbh I hate to feel like a tourist and most of the time I just wanna be able to get a glimpse into peoples every day life if you'll let me in :)

hosting people from around the world is a gift. you can get to know different cultures and perspectives and stories without even having to leave your house

Music, Movies, and Books

I could listen to music all day long (and I do lol). indie/alternative, folk, raggaeton, urbana, pop punk, ska, soca lover
techno hater, sns
a different language can never stop me from listening to music, even if I dont understand a single word
I love love love Chappell Roan, Bad Bunny, 76th Street, Ezra Furman, WOS, Provinz, Joseph Sarenhes, Lorde, Judah and the Lion, Ska-P, among others ;)

wish I could add a pic of my book shelve here. Although I currently might be more into buying books than reading books oops; reading a looot of anthropological texts for my studies, great stuff!!

I'm usually way more into series than movies, love Sex Education, La Casa de Papel, One Day at a Time, sense8, orphan black, looking for alaska, grand army, Harlem, sin Huellas

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the most lovely Spanish abuela prepared Paella specifically for me some summers ago (in the most traditional way!!)

living in Mexico with one of my best friends and his fam!! had the best time of my life so far there

Teach, Learn, Share

languages!!! and anything linguistics- related; watch me being unable to shut up

traditional dishes or honestly just good veggie food in general (I'm not the most professional in the kitchen but oh boy do I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, especially with others)
