ABOUT ME

I am a recently graduated student on my last summer vacation before college. I enjoy jogging, reading, playing piano, traveling, and associating with cool and neat people. I consider myself open-minded and inquisitive, almost neurotically so, but sometimes it's nice to be exposed to people living in the "here and now" and who don't get caught up trying to explain life all the time. It's those people I'd like to emulate more, but if that's a character flaw then I would like to stress my strengths. I'm approachable, musical, border-line athletic, and philosophical. Can you dig that?

PHILOSOPHY

I suppose I'm figuring it out as I go along. Before developing anything too definite, I will, in the meantime, try to minimize the suffering of mankind, pursue that ever-elusive knowledge, and define "love."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a newcomer here. I met some couch surfers in Berlin last summer and I was really blown away by the implications of this program. Connecting the world in a cheap and hospitable way... that's like an ancient Greek custom revived in the 21st century. I'd like to get more involved.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a summer in Berlin as a 17-year-old American in an apartment with a buddy of mine was an experience, to be true. Culture and zeitgeist condensed in a metropolis. That was easy access. I'm hunting it out now.

I'm willing to offer amateur and unqualified piano lessons, music and reading suggestions dependent on personal taste, and well-meaning life counseling if needed.
