ABOUT ME

I was born in Russia but moved to Ann Arbor, MI when I was 7. Currently finishing an undergrad degree in Computer Science at the University of Michigan. I plan to travel most of the summer and then I'm moving to Chicago to start a full time job as a software developer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been going to some local meetups but other than that, no CouchSurfing experiences yet! I plan to do my first couch surfing this summer, and then once I get a new place to start hosting people as well.

Interests

I love to play and listen to music, be outdoors, and drink beer. Whenever possible, do all three at the same time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I spent the first 20 years of my life trying to avoid books, but in the last few years have done my best to catch up on what I've missed. I'm also really interested in music. Playing and listening to music has been consistently a huge part of my life since I was in 5th grade. I always love to talk about music and find new stuff.

Pavement, Beck, Radiohead, Deerhunter, Beatles, On The Road, Vonnegut stuff is all great.

I have a pretty substantial amount of knowledge about various forms of music and software development. I would love to share my thoughts about music and/or technology. I would also love to learn other peoples' thoughts about music, technology, and just about anything else.
