ABOUT ME

I love music and dance. I teach swing dancing and blues dancing and have taken classes in tap, hip hop, and a number of ballroom dances. I played violin when I was in grade school through high school. I sing and I'm working on the ukulele and washboard.

I love to travel, experience new cultures and meet new people. I'm always on the lookout for the next adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to spend worrying about tomorrow when you can be living today!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and showing them around! I also love to travel, yay travel! I am always willing to host people when I can, but when I put that I can host, I am flooded with requests and I simply don't have the time to go through them all(especially when many seem to be copied and pasted), so if you found me and read this and need a place to stay, send me a message and I'll see if the days suit to when I'm in town and not hosting people already.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up with people to hang out, but have yet to host or surf through CS. I mainly stay with and host other dancers, friends, or friends of friends from all over the world.

Música, películas y libros

Music is my life and I like most music. There is almost always a song in my head and I pick up on the faintest hint of music. Identifying many songs and knowing a lot of lyrics. I love music

I watch movies when I can and have time. It's my down time for when I'm not active.

I don't read many books as I do a lot of reading in my (non-dancing) work and studies.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have worked at a five week-long swing dance camp in Sweden where I danced with people from all over the world who spoke in varying levels of English (sometimes none). It didn't matter what language they spoke though because they all spoke swing dancing, so that is how we connected. It was the best experience of my life so far.

I can teach you to swing dance and love learning all kinds of dance. I have taken classes in ballroom, hip hop, tap, and even burlesque. I like to learn parts of many languages. I'm working on being able to say a few things in as many languages as possible: cheers, thank you, hello, and would you like to dance with me?.
