ABOUT ME

I'm a UCF alum living in West Orlando ! I think that books are better than television, but not as good as conversation. I like to talk, but i like to listen too. I love music and i can listen to all types. Poetry is amazing. I also love to dance :)

I dislike bowling, golf, twizzlers, and spiders. I do like tennis, football, pineapples, and puppies. Laughing is one of my favorite past times and I can see humor in almost any situation. I have a tendency to laugh when I hear bad news, but it's just a nervous habit. I am an honest person, but I like to think that I have tact. I am tolerant and very caring. I can get very excited. I'm very friendly, and I like to go out and do things, but i can appreciate a lazy day or two, just not too many. It's very hard for me to watch more than one movie at a time without getting restless, but I can read for hours on end. I do my best to help others and my life goal is to enjoy the time I have on this Earth.

Interests

I'm interested learning other languages although i only speak one fluently (Guess which one) i can say a few things in Spanish. The languages i want to learn the most are Spanish and French. Maybe i should get Rosetta Stone...

I like to play tennis and to swim (pool or beach. Beaches are better though) I like poetry (Alysia Harris is my strength) I like learning about other peoples cultures. I like to meet new people and see new things (I know very specific). Bodies of water are swell, esp if there is a waterfall involved. I like to party, but i need variety as well, so you won't find me out every night.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love so many different types of music and so many artists to list them would be impractical. Hip Hop is where my heart is at, but i enjoy all types of genres. A few of my favorites are Aaliyah, Muse, Jhene Aiko, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Ryan Leslie, Musiq Soulchild, Childish Gambino, Joell Ortiz, Destiny's Child, and Solange Knowles. Like i said i do enjoy other types of music, particularly Bright Eyes, the Doors, Christina Aguilara, Ben Harper, Aerosmith, Coldplay, and so many others, but i'd be here all day

My favorite movie is the Attack the Block. I can sing along with (almost) every note in the Phantom of the Opera. I love the original Nightmare on Elm Street series. My favorite types of movies are comedies and horror. I have a thing for musicals too, some of my favorites being Chicago, and Rent. There are a lot of classic movies that my friends are horrified that I've never seen such as The Godfather.

I enjoy reading very much although I don't do it as often as I should. Fictional books are my favorite because they just seem to do a better job of catching my attention. I could lose myself for days in a book. I also have a soft spot for books from my childhood.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make a few dishes (eager to learn some more) i can braid, swim, write a really good paper. Probably some other things that aren't coming to coming right now. and I'm always willing to learn

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share some time and conversation. I can dye your hair, help plan your wedding, move some furniture. Allow me to make us some dinner or lunch. Tell some fun stories.
