My name is Itxaso and I live in the Basque Country, north of Spain. I really like my hometown. People, food and landscapes are amazing. I also feel so happy and proud to talk Basque, the official language here and one of the oldest in the world.

I finished my university studies last year and know I'm travelling to Cuba for at least 6 months. I'll stay mainly in Camagüey and would like to meet new people while there.

During the 5 years of my degree I combined studies with working in a bar. I also tried to travel and have new experiences whenever I could. Five years ago I did wwoofing in England; four years ago I did workaway in Morocco; three summer past I went to Greece for a volunteering work with refugees; and last summer I did some internship in India.

I really like meeting new people and places. For me meeting locals and envolving in a local project is the very best way to really get to know a place in all its essence :)
