CURRENT MISSION

Me and my boyfriend (Ander) are just about to start a crazy adventure: we are going to bike across the United States for three months, with the goal of getting to know as much as possible about the local cultures, visiting different states, with different landscapes and climates, and willing to meet local people to share experiences with.

ABOUT US

We are a pretty easygoing couple, who love travelling and meeting people on the way.
We discovered this way of travelling some years ago (bike packing), and ever since we just wanna travel this way, since we love the kind of experience it brings us.

10 years ago, Ander bought a couple of cycling packs and travelled with a friend from Pamplona to Istanbul! He loved that craziness, and after that there has been a lot more bike trips: Cuba,Tailandia-Vietnam, Trans-Pyrenees,...
Some years ago I joined him and we biked "El camino de Santiago", we also have crossed France from west to east and more, and last year we went from Paris to Kopenhage.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both of us have used couchsurfing before in different places, although it has been a while since we last used this app.
My first experience was 14 years ago, when I was studying in Brasil and I decided to travel by myself througth the north coast. My flat mates encouraged me to use couchsurfing, and even if I wasn't sure at all at first, I made up my mind to do it when some friends told me about their experiences...and such a great decision I made! I stayed with two different hosts and I never felt i was alone. They showed me around, took me to party, restaurants, gave me a drive to different beaches,... simply an amazing experience!

After that, my second experience was in India and Nepal. Getting to know so different countries and cultures from inside was just wonderful! I will always be grateful for those who hosted me and my friend, because they made our trip more enriching, more intense, more comfortable,..unforgettable!

Listening to all type of music, watching movies, reading, sewing, doing sports, dancing, going to the beach and enjoying the sun with one fresh beer!
But above all, spending time and laugh with friends!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I could choose among many amazing moments I have lived while traveling, but that would be what everyone could expect for each of us, so let's think about something more original...

Participating in a fashion design contest with my own collection, where the models paraded on the catwalk with my clothes on! This is the most exciting experience I have had without neither having to go away from home,nor changing my whole daily and sometimes boring routine.
