About Me

I want to make a better world for me, others around me, a better world than the one I've been given the opportunity to live in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting mostly :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience it was in 2013 when I randomly met a guy from New Zealand and he told me this "crazy story" that you can travel without paying for accomodation. The best experience was when I met him because he wanted to visit NE part of Romania and I took him in my hometown, he met my parents and my grandmother..it was a funny experience also because my grandmother doesn t know any english and she lives almost isolated in a small village, near the forest..she teached him how to plant potatoes only by showing how to do it. Even if at first she didn t want me to bring "a stranger" in her house because he might be a terrorist, a criminal, a drug dealer and so on... but she is still asking every time when I visit her how is Chris doing.

My worst experience was to try and find a host in New York or to find someone to hang out in Denver. People won't respond to the requests.

I met many amazing people on CS and I m really happy that this website exists.

Pink Floyd and Morcheeba are my favourites. I like horror movies and I watch a lot of documentaries. My favourite books are written by Dostoievski and I m also interested in cooking books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Chernobyl with a group I met on CS and this was the best adventure I had in my entire life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and I can teach other how to do it - from traditional romanian recipes to vegetarian food. Also I've studied painting and geography of tourism, I can guide people around.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I share the apartment with 3 other girls, 3 cats, a beagle and a tarantula.
The only problem is that I have a single person bed, but I also have a sleeping bag if you don t mind sleeping on the floor...
I start to work from 8am to 5 or 6pm and I only have a key so if you don't mind my schedule during the week, you are welcome to stay here :)
