About Me

I am extremely interested in different cultures and languages. That's why I have chosen linguistics as my occupation (now I am making my master degree) and I really hope, that my profession will be connected with studying and experiencing new things about different countries, nations and their cultures. Because of that traveling for me is not just relaxation and even not just interesting experience, but the way of self-development and personal growth. So I take it very seriously.
Unfortunately, I was able to travel very little in my life. Though I have visited some places, where, probably, not many people have been: Chukotka and a very distant place in Siberia - Turuhansk. Now I really want to radically change the situation with my too small traveling experience and begin to travel as much as possible. I will be extremely thankful for all people, who will help me in it!
Unfortunately, now I am not able to accept guests, because I live with my parents. But I can give excursions for you in Moscow and other cities and places of Russia, including places, which usually are not known by tourists. I also can answer any questions about visiting my country and give you advices. I can do it at any time, when I am in Moscow, so feel free to ask me what ever you want!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find nice and interesting people all over the world and especially in countries, which I am visiting. I think, that it is impossible to understand the culture of any country, with out a big experience of communication with it's people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are Bible, Ramayana, Kalevala and Water Margin. As you see, I mostly like exotic books :)
I know, it may sound strange, but I have watched very few famous and popular movies. At the same time, I am a fan of some movies, that not many people know: I like "Seven samurai" and "Yozimbo" by Akira Kurosava, "Zulu Down", "The son of the morning star". I also like "Pirates of the Caribben" though.
I like mostly classical and folk music. Especially, accordion music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After doing a thing, which has seemed amazing for me, I always understand, that it is absolutely usual and many others or even all have also done it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you many interesting things about cultures, anthropology, languages, literature and history. I can give you a lecture, if you want :)
But I can talk about many other different thing, for example lacrosse or the First Aid.
I also can share my humor with you. It can be strange sometimes, but always will make you laughing :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As it is written above, I can share with your my knowledge about many different things, which I have got during my university studying and research experience and also by reading and self-education. Also I play accordion and guitar, and if I you also play any musical instrument, we can try to play together, if you want.
I will be happy to help you with all kind of work in your house. Unfortunately, I am not very good at cooking, but I can do it fine, if you direct me :)
