Hi! My name is Ivan.
I spent the last 9 years living in Vietnam — building projects, learning from life and traveling across Southeast Asia. Now I’m starting my round-the-world journey, aiming to reach Latin America by sailing hitchhiking, traveling with zero budget, relying on experience, openness and the magic of human connection.

I’m a navigator with 10 years of experience at sea. I used to work on large vessels and now I’m returning to the ocean as a way of living freely. I love real travel — not through hotel windows, but through roads, people, nature and meeting life face to face.

I’ve trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp, lived in monasteries, practiced meditation, joined retreats and festivals. For me, traveling is more than moving from place to place — it’s a way to stay connected to the world and myself.

I’m also passionate about extreme sports — skydiving, diving and surfing give me a sense of freedom and adrenaline that I love to share with others.

I speak Russian and English and I’m learning Spanish. I’m always open to new friendships, stories, experiences and shared adventures.
