COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing and dont have many experiences. I had a young man named Shawn stay with me once a few years back, we found each other through my room mate who was new to couchsurfing at the time. Shawn stayed with us a few nights and moved on only to have a re-encounter on Maui where we crossed paths and became really great friends.
Other than that experience I havent been able to host because im on the road...
