Hi! My name is Ivana as you probably noticed and I come from Slovakia. I studied for couple of years in Czech republic and afterwards I moved to Austria where I am at the moment but I do plan to move to Germany soon.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love having the opportunity to get to know the places with the locals. But lets be honest, many times, we don‘t know every street or restaurant at home the tourist already checked on the map. Sometimes we know our tiny neighbourhood around our apartment and that‘s it. And that‘s alright. I enjoy more the connections, good talks, different customs etc. You don‘t have to „know“ the whole city.

Intereses

I love different kind of sports, mostly hiking, but also climbing/boulder, running (now I am in my hibernation mode), dancing etc. I have a slackline in my drawer, somewhere a frisbee too. I loved my tomatoes and tiny gardening on my balcony, but at the moment I do not have any balcony sadly. And I used to swim as a kid, but I hated it. Now I am slowly getting back to it and I really like it.

It changes all the times, depending on my mood and how much older I get, haha
The nicest memory I have, is on the concert of Mumford and sons, it was beyond the words.

I used to read a lot. My mum hid my book sometimes so I would do my homework first. It changed at the university, maybe because I had to read a lot of study materials. Now I am slowly getting back to it.

Volunteering in UK at a farm. It sounds maybe not amazing enough, but for me it was a milestone, I went all alone on my 19th Birthday.
