I was born in April of 1991 in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Every weekend my parents were taking me to the countryside to visit my grandparents where I learned how to live in touch with nature and really connect with people. Living in the big city I miss this true connection while constant rushing is alienating people from each other. Although I haven't been aware of it, today I believe all my adventures and foodie cravings originate from my childhood experience. My story was a common life experience until I enrolled my studies in the field of electrical engineering and computing in Zagreb. To make it more of an adventure I decided to take it to another level, it might be defined as a challenge, therefore I spent one semester in Germany and one in Sweeden. Like that was not enough in one year, I decided to make a whole round around the planet so I ended up choosing the US to taste another continent. It was a blast and I want to do it again and again. As I like to be surrounded by people and enjoy good company I am happy to have this platform to find more people with the same lifespan and cravings.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

To travel and set my wanderlust free. Although there are many possibilities to visit foreign countries, I prefer Couchsurfing, because it is providing a better insight into the culture, native way of preparing dishes (yummy), more personal and emotional impressions of the city feature, unforgettable experience and the most important, friends for life. So far, people, I have met shared many memorable and unique stories that I feel really blessed to have them in my life as they are a constant reminder of dreams coming true. Living in a multicultural dorm triggered a spark of curiosity and itchy feet so I am pursuing my thirst to meet all the differences and similarities, discovering the truth of this world for myself and debunk all the stereotypes and myths.

Be my next puzzle in this endless riddle of life and I will cherish it dearly.
