About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Clutter-free life (impossible, as you will see when you see my place), switching from being a night owl to a morning person-love mornings, but hate going to bed early..
ABOUT ME
I'm a sociable enough person.Favourites:exchanging views, long walks, cinema, repurposing.I love dancing, playing frisbee and foodie dinners with friends, but also spending time on my own, cycling/swimming/reading.I am a cat person, but also love cuddling with cuddly dogs.
Don't expect me to meet up for coffee,it's not my cup of tea.
I'll rather do any of the above, with a thermos bottle
I tend to give detailed directions how to come to my place, instead of exchanging 38 messages with the same result. It's simple enough in my hometown-it's walkable and buses regularly ride to my neibhourhood.
PHILOSOPHY
There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; or you can live as if everything is a miracle.

FAVOURITE TRAVEL QUOTE
Nanny kicked her red boots together idly.
Well, I suppose there’s no place like home,’ she said.
‘No,’ said Granny Weatherwax, still looking thoughtful. ‘No. There’s a billion places like home. But only one of ‘em’s where you live.’

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First I'm going to write how I DON'T:
!!! I do NOT host for ONE NIGHT only as it doesn't give me any time to hang out with my c.surfers. Also, I prefer guests who do not have a bottle of alcohol on their profile pic. I do drink alcohol, but the main picture is supposed to be a picture that represents you and your interests in a way, and choosing a bottle just makes me wonder what to expect.
-I don't babysit my surfers, but they are free to join me when I go swimming, for a concert, or a walk.
-offering to wash the dishes/dry the shower after using is not mandatory, but is a common courtesy.
- when I have the time/inspiration, I love showing off my town to surfers.Which is almost never in summer.
-summer requests:it's not your fault, but it's difficult to feel hospitable when my town is overwhelmed by thousands cruise ship travellers
- I live in Dubrovnik not King's Landing (I've read all 5 books, ok for killing time on the beach, I can chat about it if I must)
Interests
- enjoying similarities in people and places all over this amazing planet.
- public space; 'Venice Syndrom'
- seeing travellers as a local in their country would see me,and the other way around
-I'm a sucker for spices and herbs If you're interested in taking some sage, basil , thyme or mint home I may have some at home, depending on the season
